An editorial exploration of darkness, elegance and visual strength.
This editorial was created for Darkly Magazine, a publication dedicated to bold visual narratives and unconventional beauty. It represents a contemporary interpretation of dark aesthetics — refined, controlled and intentionally powerful.
At the center of this editorial stands Romana — a presence defined by strength, awareness and visual confidence. The image does not seek to explain; it invites interpretation. Body painting, sculptural elements and dramatic light transform the human form into a mythic silhouette suspended between elegance and tension.

The horned shape, the cool tonal palette and the cinematic lighting language reference archaic symbolism while remaining unmistakably modern. This is not horror as spectacle — it is dark beauty as attitude.
For me as a photographer, editorial work like this is about clarity of vision. Every detail is intentional. Every shadow contributes to the narrative. The image is not designed to please universally — it is designed to remain.
Published in Darkly Magazine (November 2025), this work reflects my approach to editorials and publications: concept-driven, visually independent and internationally oriented.
