Some editorials begin with a location.
Others begin with an idea.
Emerald Reverie began with a dress.
The deep emerald colour immediately caught my attention. It had a quiet presence and a character of its own. Together with fashion designer Victoria, the idea emerged to create a series built around simplicity — allowing colour, movement and expression to shape the images.
The photographs were created in a deliberately restrained setting. No elaborate scenery. No distractions. Just light, form and moments that gradually unfolded in front of the camera.
What I enjoy most about editorial work is the freedom to follow an idea without knowing exactly where it will lead. Sometimes the strongest images appear when very little is added and nothing feels forced.
Emerald Reverie was later published in CHICLE Magazine #86 Vol 15 as part of an international fashion editorial feature.
